I've updated the readme.txt file now. The error is most likely caused by a <a href="http://www.php.net/language.oop5.typehinting" rel="nofollow">type hint</a> on line 81, stating that the function declared on that line expects argument 2 to be of type Array. Type hinting is not supported by PHP4, which is why I suspect that you (or your host) are running PHP4. PHP5 is required, in part, due to extensive use of the <a href="http://no.php.net/DOM" rel="nofollow">DOM library</a>. Unfortunately, I am not going to make the plug-in PHP4 compliant.
